Latto (-118) – Bet here

Although Latto has been making mixtapes and appearing on other artists’ tracks since the mid-2010s, she exploded onto the scene in 2022.

Her album 777 cracked the top 10 on the American hip-hop/R&B charts and its top single “Big Energy” peaked at the top spot in that category — and came in number at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Latto saw her profile rise significantly as she collaborated with huge artists like Lil Wayne and Childish Gambino on 777, and did a remix of her hit single with DJ Khaled and Mariah Carey.

Anitta (+325) – Bet here

Anitta has been a hit in Brazil since her debut album Anitta dropped back in 2013, but she’s taken off in North America thanks to her most recent album Versions of Me.

Versions of Me was a smashing success, becoming the first Brazilian pop album to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify in October.

Although many North Americans didn’t know Anitta’s name heading into 2022, she had featured on the soundtracks of several popular movies like Charlie’s Angels and F9: The Fast Saga.

Maneskin (+500) – Bet here

Like Anitta, Maneskin was already well-known in their home country before breaking through internationally. They had two No. 1 albums in Italy before finding a crossover hit with Rush! in January.

Maneskin first attracted international attention by winning the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest with “Zitti e buoni,” and they’ve been on an upward trajectory since.

While the rock group would have to be considered an underdog for this award, they are well on their way to massive success in the English-speaking world. Rush! peaked at number five on the UK charts after neither of their previous albums went above 49.
