For almost as long as the Warriors have existed, the term “it’s our year” has been said by die hard fans and sarcastic doubters alike.

But every year, despite their best efforts, and two appearances in the NRL final in 2002 and 2011, the Warriors have never won the tournament.

Is 2023 the one?

The team is off to a red-hot start, winning four out of five games to start the season.

The latest victory saw the team come from behind, after trailing 20-0, to beat the Sharks 32-30 on Sunday.

The Warriors have also beaten the Knights 20-12, the Cowboys 26-12, and the Bulldogs 16-14 this season.
