Three car crashes in Wellington’s Hutt Valley have led to several injuries and a road closure.
Emergency services responded to a two-car crash on Molesworth St, in Taitā, reported at 4.47pm on Friday.
The road was closed and motorists were asked to avoid the area.
The serious crash unit were in attendance, police said.

Shortly after, police received reports of a single-vehicle crash on Park Ave, Lower Hutt.
“One person appeared to have been injured,” a police spokesperson said.
Earlier in the evening, a two-car crash was reported on Ward St, Trentham, in Upper Hutt.
“There appears to have been injuries,” the spokesperson said.
It was unclear how serious the injuries were and no other road blockages were reported.
