Police are searching for a 71-year-old who went missing from Rakiura Stewart Island and was last seen Friday morning.
Residents of Rakiura/Stewart Island are being asked to check their properties for a man missing since Friday morning.
A search and rescue operation to find 71-year-old Manfred Herzoff is under way.
Herzoff was last seen wearing shorts, a red T-shirt over a white T-shirt, and glasses.
Residents and visitors to the island are asked to report any information or sightings to police, and also check their properties for any sign of Herzoff.
