Firefighters are battling a Timaru building fire.
Eight fire trucks are battling a blaze at a Silver Ferns Farms facility in Pareora.
Fire and Emergency were called to the building fire at 6.45pm Thursday, a spokesperson said.
“There are currently eight appliances at the site working to fully extinguish the fire.”
The facility was a meat processing plant.
