A person is in Nelson Hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehcile crash in Mārahau.
A person has suffered serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Mārahau, Tasman on Thursday morning.
Emergency services were notified at 8.38am to the crash on Sandy Bay-Marahau Rd.
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said one patient was assessed and treated at the scene and later transported to Nelson Hospital in a serious condition.
Fire crews from Kaiteriteri, Mārahau and Motueka were sent to the scene where they assisted with traffic control, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson said.
