A person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a tractor collided with a pedestrian in Taranaki.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Weraroa Rd and Bear St in Waverley South at about 5pm on Sunday.
A police spokesperson said the person who was injured was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Traffic management was sent to the scene, and police were advising motorists to avoid the area.
