The 35-year-old Borjan, who grew up in Hamilton, also helped Red Star qualify for a group stage berth in the 2023-24 Champions League. In three matches in April, Borjan played 270 minutes and recorded two shutouts as Red Star extended its win streak to four.

Lacasse scored four goals and added four assists, reaching 100 goals for her club in just her fourth season with Benfica, which currently tops Portugal’s Campeonato Nacional Feminino league standings.
