Princess Catherine arrived at Boston’s Earthshot Prize 2022 wearing the same emerald green choker that was often seen around the neck of her mother-in-law, People reports.
The Princess of Wales, 40, wore the iconic piece of jewellery which has not been seen since it was worn by Princess Diana in the 1990s.
The choker, which was famously once worn as a headband by William and Harry’s late mother in Australia, was originally given to Queen Mary by the Ladies of India in 1911. It was later gifted to Diana by Queen Elizabeth following her wedding to Charles, People reports.
Both Prince William and Prince Harry inherited jewellery from their mother which have since been given to their wives.

In keeping with the event’s sustainability theme, Princess Catherine arrived with Prince William at the MGM Music Hall in Boston wearing a rented long-sleeved Space London gown from UK rental platform Hurr.
The dress, together with the famous choker was also reminiscent of a green ensemble worn by Princess Diana in 1983.
The colour of Princess Catherine’s dress was tweeted about by Royal Central editor-in-chief Charlie Proctor.
He wrote online that it was “very brave” of the princess to wear green screen, and included a set of images from the late Queen after wearing a green coat, with the outfit having been doctored to show the Queen wearing a batman suit and hat and a pizza-patterned outfit.
“I guarantee people will have a lot of fun!”
