It was certainly an unforgettable wedding proposal for one bride-to-be in the US.
Little did Minita Tanner know when she went to the toilet mid-flight that an entire plane was waiting for her and filming, all because partner Darian Brinkley was on bended knee outside the loo door.
The couple were on a flight to Mexico to their friends’ wedding, where Brinkley had originally planned to pop the question.
But in a spur-of-the-moment decision, he decided to propose right there and then, and roped in the crew to help.
The couple had been seated in different parts of the plane, so when she made her way to the toilet, the crew got the passengers ready for the big proposal.

As Tanner stepped out she was greeted with cheers and a ring, and thankfully it was a “yes”.
Later, Brinkley told Fox 5 Atlanta that his bride-to-be loved the surprise.
“Not only is she shocked about the proposal, but the amount of attention it got. She feels like a princess. I’m just happy for the national attention she’s receiving from everyone,” said Brinkley.
