Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help finding the driver responsible for a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on St. Anne’s Road in late September.
The crash happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 29, 2024 near the intersection of St. Anne’s Road and Granby Bay. An 18-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle going northbound on St. Anne’s Road, and the driver didn’t stop. A passing motorist found the injured woman in the road and contacted emergency personnel.
Police are still trying to identify the driver and vehicle involved. They’re asking anyone with information, including video or dash camera video footage of the incident to call traffic investigators at 204-986-7085 or anonymously at Crime Stoppers 204-786-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip online at winnipegcrimestoppers.org.
