Fire and Emergency NZ responding to reports of smoke at the Ministry of Health in Wellington
An electrical fire in the roof cut power to the Ministry of Health’s Wellington office and prompted a significant emergency response.
Firefighters at the scene said no-one inside was at risk.
Molesworth St is blocked to traffic from the intersection of May St, near Thorndon New World.
