BEEF STIR-FRY

Ingredients

300g rump steak

100g onions

1 garlic clove

Salt and pepper

1/2 tablespoon oil

1 head of broccoli

200g carrots

100g frozen mixed vegetables

2 tablespoons dark soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder

200g cauliflower rice

Method

  1. Slice the steak and onion, crush the garlic clove. Season with salt and pepper, add the oil to a large frying pan and brown the steak, onion and garlic for 6-8 minutes

  2. Dice the broccoli and add to the frying pan

  3. Peel and dice the carrots, add to the frying pan with the frozen mixed vegetables

  4. Add the soy sauce and Chinese five spice powder to the frying pan, stir and cook uncovered for 10-15 minutes (add a small amount of water if the sauce simmers down too quickly)

  5. Add the cauliflower rice to a small saucepan with a little bit of water, cook for 4-5 minutes

  6. Serve
