Beauty pageant queens Miss Puerto Rico and Miss Argentina announced Friday they have quietly tied the knot .
Models Fabiola Valentin and Mariana Varela competed at the 2020 Miss Grand International beauty pageant in Thailand. Varela represented Argentina while Valentin represented Puerto Rico.
In a post to Instagram, Valentin announced she and Varela had secretly married.

The post consisted of video of the couple at beaches and restaurants. It also featured footage of the pair’s engagement.
The couple captioned the post in Spanish.
“After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors to them on a special day 28/10/22,” a translation of the post said.
People commented their support to the post, including other beauty queens.
“Congratulations,” model and winner of the 2020 Miss Grand International competitions Avena Akuaba wrote.
“MGI brought together a beautiful union.”
