A person was reportedly seriously injured in an attack at the Burger King near Confusion Corner Tuesday.

Police weren’t expected to comment until Wednesday.

A sign taped to the entrance of the restaurant at 244 Osborne St. said the dining room was closed and open for drive-thru only.

Around 6:30 p.m. a cleaner was seen mopping up pools of blood spattered on the floor of the eating area and blood-soaked napkins were near the counter.

There were patches of dried blood outside the south entrance of the restaurant.

Global News reported earlier in the day that someone was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Employees working in the drive-thru of the Burger King declined to comment.
