U.S. rock band Heart will postpone the remainder of its Royal Flush tour owing to singer Ann Wilson’s cancer diagnosis.

This includes the band’s Nov. 24 date at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg with BTO.

In a statement Tuesday, Wilson said she underwent surgery to remove a cancerous growth and is recovering, but has been advised by her doctors to undergo a course of chemotherapy and take time off from performing.

Anne Wilson and Heart were scheduled to play Nov. 24 at Canada Life Centre.

“This is merely a pause. I’ve much more to sing,” she said.

Wilson said she plans to be back onstage in 2025. Previously purchased tickets will be honoured for new dates.
