Nine people injured in multiple vehicle crash in Palmerston North.
A crash involving five cars in Palmerston North has left nine people injured.
Emergency services responded to the crash at 1.24pm Monday at the intersection of Rangitekei St and Cuba St.
A police spokesperson said a “significant” number of vehicles were involved and multiple people had received minor injuries.
Police are currently in attendance, as well as Hato Hone St John. Ther are no reports of the road being blocked.
There were multiple people in various stages of shock, and it appeared the cars had rear-ended each other, the spokesperson said.
