The Football Ferns celebrate CJ Bott’s goal against Mexico.
CJ Bott scored the only goal as the Football Ferns registered their first win of 2022 against Mexico on Friday [Saturday NZ time].
Making her first appearance since the SheBelieves Cup in the United States in February, the fullback struck in the 84th minute to give her side a 1-0 win at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
The Ferns finish the September international window with a match against the Phillipines elsewhere in California next week [kickoff 12pm Wednesday NZ time].
