Bailey Keen has been found safe and well after he was last seen on December 27 in Invercargill.
In a Facebook post on Thursday morning, a Southern police district spokesperson said the 18-year-old, who was reported missing, had been located.
Police thanked the public for their assistance in finding him.
Keen, who usually lives in Timaru, was last seen on Ythan St wearing a white hoodie with blue writing, a white cap and grey shorts.
On January 2, police urged anyone who had seen Keen or had information on his whereabouts to contact them.
