Five individuals and three teams are slated to be inducted into the Manitoba Softball Hall of Fame and Museum at a ceremony on May 3 at the Victoria Inn Hotel in Winnipeg.

Lorne Seneshen of Winnipeg and Swan River’s Gord Zamzow will enter in the all-round category while Dauphin’s Reid Birss and Gladstone’s Rob Olson (athlete) and Poplarfield’s Ed Shore (builder) will also be honoured.

Teams scheduled for induction include the Portage Bison/Seals fastball team (1965-66); Smitty’s Terminators fastball team (1999-2003); Winnipeg Internationals (1983-85)/Ashams fastball club (1987-89).
